System Sizing and Function
The systems are sized based on the size of your current pool. You will need a system equal to 50 - 100% of the pool surface. For example, a pool that is 20' X 30' would need 8 to 10 of the 4' X 10' solar pool collectors. Your current pool pump circulates the pool water through the series of collectors to warm the water. A pump timer and solar controls regulate the temperature. A thermal pool cover will decrease heat loss at night.
